The series was designed keeping in mind an easy to read, wide open and shock resistant dial and waterproof case to handle the most intense road wear. The In-House movement called the Calibre 1887 was created in 2010 for the Carrera case which was another stepping stone for Tag Heuer towards fine watchmaking.
